To everyone in Austrailia supporting Ron Paul: thank you for voting pro-peace. As a Veteran, I can’t express in words how happy I am to see people around the world want nothing but peace.

I’m confident that once the rest of the American sheeple (more and more waking up everyday!) find out about things like the Federal Reserve, IMF, etc., we, as HUMANS can understand the problem as a whole and move on to things we were destined for. I won’t get into that now ;) , but let’s just say I would like to join the universal community some time in this life.

        God bless Austrailian’s like you.

Thanks Doug for the terrific article and for this interview. Now, it would be NICE to hear Dr. Paul say that he wants to WIN the nomination. While, “focusing our efforts squarely on winning delegates and party leadership positions at state conventions” is terrific. Can he SAY, he wants to WIN the nomination in Tampa?

      • Onetogo4music

I’ve been thinking the same thing for quite awhile–I don’t believe I have ever heard Dr. Paul say “I want your vote, I want to be your president”.

        • Thefivecircle

Maybe he can say that to Romney’s people at the convention, adding that it is for liberty, the country, and the American people they vote for when they vote for him! When he says it and puts the stress on the movement and appeals to the vote as something against tyranny:But he is too polite to say that Romney is Pro–tyranny…

      • smacca

That’s what I want. I want Ron Paul to take the gloves out on Mitt Romney and come out and say he’s going to be the nominee. I guess that might be too arrogant but I want to know he’s in it TO WIN IT!

    • Spade442

Rusty good to hear from Australia. Thanks for your support. One thing for everyone to notice is that this revolution is global. And for all of our delegates take note that you have people all around the world standing with you. Now the fight really gets started. And I can only assume that you guys are going to get much needed help with all of the games being played. Give em hell!!!

Arizona was a beacon of hope. If Arizona’s hardcore neocon state gop could be shaken apart like they were…expect Ron Paul to be the next u.s. president.

    • Burbur

I think that Dr Paul might also be not totally well at the moment. I’ve watched a lot of his speeches on the tube and he seemed worn at the Speech at UC San Diego on May 4th, 2012. He has campaigned hard for a long time. If that’s the case then he will get a chance to refuel.

      • Kympa

I agree with you. His voice had become a blt raspy lately and he really could use some R&R. Makes no difference to the self-motivated army of Paulites. This is all good. The good doctor is keeping his powder dry to use when most effective.Like delegates and the BIG battle ahead in Tampa! He is a very intelligent man and you know it. Trust his political instinct and have faith. He will NOT fail you. Why? Because he will have to fail in himself before he can fail you.

    • Mike

Given that Romney’s son got booed off stage at the AZ Republican Party Convention, I can’t wait to see the fireworks in Tampa.

If Ron Paul wants to avoid blowing money on straw polls and primaries, I say “good on him”. The real story of this election is him, not Romney and not Obama. The whole world is behind Dr. Paul.

This is the best thing he could do. He would never drop out, he knows that we have all worked hard and donated. He will use OUR money in the best way he can. He will work on the delegates, which is the most important thing in the race. He will put some of his campaign members at some of the up coming conventions to make sure the GOP doesn’t screw us anymore. The remaining states will have to go grassroots all the way, like we did here in FL. He didn’t spend a dime here because advertising would have cost him 10 million or more. So we did all the work and we still got him 7%. That is amazing work. ALWAYS REMEMBER, ITS THE DELEGATES, DELEGATES, DELEGATES. Go Ron Paul.

    • smacca

Arggg, I’m so frustrated after reading the Huffington Post. lol You can see how clueless they are. They don’t even know Ron Paul is running despite all the successes. Sooooooo irritating.

    • TAY

When I heard this today on mainstream media….I was overcome with grief….I have never cared about politics much in my life….mostly because of what politics has been shown to be really about. Ron Paul…has given REAL hope for REAL change…and to lose that hope…it would be just too much to bear. I realize that given the way the system is and the way the media is, and how far the entire scope of this nation has devolved from its original intent, that a clean cut Ron Paul victory is possibly a dream…but the hope that it is at least possible, is enough to get me through another day. Don’t quit. Don’t desert us. We don’t have time to waste while everything falls further and further apart…play to win! Come out with some kind of statement stating the facts as they are in your words that can’t be spun and say exactly what the plan is and what the proposed outcome would be. We support you and the support grows every hour!

    • LibertyUnited

Yes! Ron Paul is not out but, up. Our delegate plan is working and they know it. I didn’t hear about the air conditioning being turned off or the locking of the ballots in the car. But, the rest of it has been discussed on the Daily Paul.

Ron Paul continue with your delegate strategy and we will be victorious.

    • BOZ

i heard the article about ron paul giving up and i could not beleive it. its amazing the lengths these people will got to to retain their stranglehold on the world. ron paul must win because if the murderers that we have in power win again, it will be to late to stop them. PEACE BEFORE PROFIT

Some of Pauls campaign managers seem unfit for their jobs. How can they not know the consequence of such a press release when they need support? Just saying.

      • John Wallman

Who says they didn’t know the consequences of their press release? Perhaps, the intention was to convince the Romney supporters to let their guard down when we have 6 states selecting delegates this weekend. Have faith that these people who have been working on the campaign for years, know what they are doing.

    • http://www.warresistanceblog.blogspot.com/ Jmramer

Romney scares the devil out of me. It is not that the man makes mistakes; it’s that he doesn’t seem to realize the gravity of his errors, even with hindsight.

      1. The disgraceful incident in which he rounded up fellow classmates to hold a kid down while he hacked off his hair as the victim cried for help. It is understandable that an adolescent wouldn’t realize how wrong this is, but a mature man should not dismiss a humiliating assault as a “prank” that got out of hand.

      2. A later incident in which he participated in shaving the heads and painting the skulls of members of a rival football team. Given the length of time that it takes for hair to regrown, this is a humiliation that lasts for months. Why does this man need to humiliate people?

      3. The dog story. Even after he knew the dog was obviously distressed, he hosed off the dog, who had defecated in fear, and continued to keep the dog on the roof. His attitude was not “Gosh, I wish I had never done something like that.” Rather, he touts this story as an example of his “crisis management.”

      4. As a firm opponent of US foreign policy, I despise the way this man is always banging the war drum–even though neither he nor his sons have served in the military. His attitude seems to be “Let other people fight and die–or live without limbs, eyes, and testicles–while I vote to send them off while keeeping myself and my sons safe.”

This man simply lacks ordinary human decency. Do you want this man to have his proverbial finger on the button?

I would add to #4 that he was a draft dodger, who went to Europe to avoid going to war. He also simultaneously protested against draft dodgers and against war protesters. Can you say, “hypocrite”?

        • TheB

So, how do we get this message to Romney supporters who think he’s a great guy? Dr Paul is not pointing these things out and saying “is this what you want?” Shouldn’t somebody do it?

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=857184871 Wendy Terry

Not too worried about it, since Romney has no chance to win. lol

      • Pipsandpod

People surely can’t be voting for him? My son would have known not to do those things at a very young age. Romney is clearly a delinquant

    • G. Giles

Despite the misinterpretation in the press and talk radio of Ron Paul not pursuing the remaining primaries in the hopes of pursuing and winning the delegate vote, I would hope that Ron Paul is focusing on the present campaign he has implemented, and not on the potential future of Rand Paul in 2016. This is the reason that many people, including myself, a lifelong Democrat, recently changing my party affiliation due to the closed primary in New Mexico in order to participate in the primary process and vote for Ron Paul on June 5th. We are supporting him based on his long time record in the legislature of standing up for liberty, his oath of office, and the Constitution, of which at the present time, his son Rand does not have the same longevity of record. I would be very disappointed to find that Ron Paul would deter the process that the people have initiated in supporting him wholeheartedly in the past election 2008, and now in 2012, and the belief that he is our only chance toward discussing the REAL ISSUES at stake here in America at the GOP convention, and afterwards with those that are standing by Obama’s well past due promises, by surrendering himself in the hopes of promoting Rand Paul next time around. In doing so, he also surrenders We The People. We cannot wait until 2016 to begin to undo the Federal Reserve, and Citizens United, in taking money out of politics, and reroute the dangerous course we are presently on that is undoing our Democracy under the false guise of security against supposed terrorism, and at the expense of everything else. In addition, we cannot allow the election process and the people’s voice to be undermined through voter fraud and manipulation, where valid candidates are not allowed to present their views to the people, where the parties control the debates instead of a supposedly unbiased presentation of candidates to the people, as previously sponsored by the League of Women Voters, and where the press allows distortion of the truth and the facts. This election is not about party, but about our liberties. We as citizens are bound, if we really believe in the Constitution, to stand up for the candidate that best serves the people and his oath of office, which at present, is Ron Paul. If we fail to stand up for these principles, and the true voice of the people, we will have sacrificed everything that our forefathers/mothers have fought, worked and lived for, not counting the rest of the world. We cannot allow, under any circumstances, to not have our voices heard and our votes counted, as we may never get another chance. We The People must prevail at the GOP convention, for this time around will decide the destiny of us all, and we must not be silenced by those that do not want our voice to be heard and are willing to sacrifice everything for their own greed and power. WE ARE PEOPLE HERE!!!

Mitt Romney is not a moral man.

I find little dignity in a man who destroys the lives of others for financial gain, which is the history of Mr. Romney’s wealth; among men whom scheme for ways to undermine the spirit of a law, to say, “I did it legally,” he destroyed for gain.
